Day 6 is F – A-Z Blog Challenge http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/

F is for Farmers’ Markets. Where I live in the Niagara Peninsula of Ontario, we’re lucky enough to have a farmer’s market right in the center of downtown. The market was originally started by the local farmers way back in the early 1800’s when they brought their produce to town by horse and cart. Now, almost 200 years later the market is still in existence. Although thanks to what we like to call progress, how much longer it will continue is anyone’s guess. These days there are very few vendors who actually grow what they sell. Instead, they buy their wares from a food terminal. The recent launch of a multicultural supermarket almost next door, although badly needed and a great place to shop, hasn't helped the market vendors’ complaints of poor sales.

F also stands for my latest release - FINDING THE TRUTH

(Part of the Peninsula Heights series)

The sequel to Amber Allure’s Best Seller Looking For Answers...

P.I. Marcus D’Angelo thought he’d solved the mystery surrounding the rumors of shakedowns and extortion in Little Italy involving Sal Ravello. Now he’s worried he could be wrong.

His boyfriend, magazine reporter Jake Reilly, suggests that Marcus’ informant was feeling a little bitter after his friends sold up and moved away from the old neighborhood. Was the man’s information more self-serving than true? Marcus realizes this is possible, and also realizes he’ll have to go back, recheck everything and find confirmation.

But there’s something else that worries Marcus more—there’s a chance Jake’s new job could mean him being sent to the Far East for several months. Can their relationship survive a long separation?

  1. Loving this challenge. We have our own Farmer's Market but it's a bit out of the way for me. I wish they had one on this side of town. But we have produce stands. For the last two years, my brother-in-law has purchased his produce at the Farmer's Market and opened a produce stand on this side of town. He's done well.
