February 28, 2015:

There’s something just a little bit naughty and a whole lot delicious about a teacher and a mature student. They’re both above the the age of consent and can do whatever they want—except there are these old taboos about teachers and students and older women and younger men.

So for this week’s edition of MySexySaturday I have seven paragraphs from SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT.

By Christiane France

As far as English teacher, Maddy Anderson, was concerned, her relationship with post-grad student, Ty Jarrett, was perfectly proper in every way. She was helping Ty get his book ready for publication out of the goodness of her heart and that was all.

Maddy’s best friend, Karen, and Karen’s bank manager husband, Dennis, and some of their friends, however, viewed the relationship in a whole different light. It didn’t matter to them that Maddy and Ty were both over twenty-one, unattached and free to do whatever they pleased. In their opinion, any teacher and student relationship was dead wrong, and spending long hours alone at the teacher’s house was the worst—an unhealthy situation that just begged to be talked about...

Maddy felt a tiny frisson of excitement zigzag down her body to the sensitive spot between her legs. “Leave on what? My clothes or the lights?”

His knowing, sexy smile made her shiver. He knew exactly what he was doing to her, and exactly how much she enjoyed knowing that he knew.

“The lights. I want to watch you take off your clothes. Do it slow. Okay?”

Getting off the sofa, she crossed her arms and started to lift the hem of her sweater, then stopped. “I can’t. I’ve never done this before. I feel so silly.”

“Do it for me, babe. Please?”

He began to hum an old melody Maddy had always associated with striptease, and as she began to sway to the music, he held her gaze while she crossed her arms again and gradually removed her sweater one tiny inch at a time. When the sweater was gone, she tried to bump and grind her way out of her jeans, the way she’d seen an entertainer do in a nightclub. But what that woman had made look smooth and easy was impossible for Maddy. She’d forgotten to take her shoes off first, and she’d ended up in a heap on the floor, laughing like a fool and pulling her jeans off in the usual way.

“Come here,” Ty instructed, taking her hand and pulling her up beside him on the sofa. “Put one knee on either side of me like this. Okay?” Once he had her positioned the way he wanted, he said softly, “Now the bra.”

MySexySaturday - OH, WHAT A KNIGHT

February 14, 2015:

In honor of Valentine’s Day, for this week’s edition of MySexySaturday I have seven paragraphs from my latest release, OH, WHAT A KNIGHT. This is not a scene brimming with sexy details, but a heartwarming moment near the beginning of the story. Griff, the main character, is flat on his ass, no job, no home, close to broke, and with no idea which way to turn, when a knight in shining armor happens by.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

By Christiane France

Following the death of his employer, Harvey St. Onge—a local gay man with a reputation for attracting handsome young men and throwing wild parties at his country estate—Griffin Andrews is literally on the outside looking in. Harv had promised to take care of Griff, but when the lawyer shows up and Griff is paid off and shown the door with the rest of the staff, he figures Harv “forgot” his promise. Now, Griff may be stuck in the country, miles from anywhere with no transportation and no proof of Harv’s promise, but he’s a survivor. So he packs what he can carry and starts walking.

Partway into his journey, however, a handsome motorist stops and offers Griff a lift. Shane Walker says he’s just going as far as Peninsula Heights. But by the time they get there, Griff’s life has done a fast one-eighty. He has a new friend, the promise of a job, and a place to stay. It all sounds too good be true.

Now Griff has to wonder—is Shane really Griff’s proverbial “white knight in shining armor” riding to his rescue, or something else?

“I have a spare room you’re welcome to use. That’s if you’re interested. It’s nothing special, but it’s clean and close to the store. It’s just a suggestion. If you say no, I won’t be offended.”

“You charge by the day or the week?”

“The job’s short term, so there would be no cost to you.”

“You sure about that? What I mean is I do have money, I just don’t have that much.”

He punched me lightly on the arm. “All the more reason you should hang on to what you have then.”

This was kindness beyond anything I’d ever known. I didn’t do emotion, but my throat felt tight and my vision blurred. “I don’t know what to say, Shane. A simple thank you sounds pretty inadequate. After all, you don’t know me. You could wake up tomorrow and find all your stuff gone.”

“I could, but it won’t happen. If you were a thief or not be trusted for any reason, you would not have been living under Harvey’s roof. The man was one smart dude who’d learned to read people like a book. He could pick out the good guys from those looking to rip him off at a glance.”

February 7, 2015:

For this week’s MySexySaturday I have seven paragraphs from REINCARNATION. It’s the scene where Lee and Reno first meet and then spend the rest of the evening together. There was supposed to be a sequel to this book, but so many great ideas and so little time. Maybe one of these days I’ll get around to it…

By Christiane France

When Lee Stanger and Reno Jackson meet in a Las Vegas bar, they feel an instant and mutual attraction, plus the feeling they’ve met somewhere before. But they couldn’t have met previously, since Lee has never been to the west coast, and Reno has never been farther east than Denver. And both men have good reason not to go digging up the past in the hope of figuring it out.

Over the course of the evening, however, Lee has a series of fragmented and puzzling flashbacks about an event from his past that includes a man who looks like Reno. Or could he be confusing two unrelated incidents, and if so, are they connected in some way?

Until now, Lee has chosen to ignore medical advice and allow an unpleasant experience that happened eight years ago to remain a blank in his mind. But with details starting to resurface and a burning need to remember exactly what happened, he can no longer afford to suppress the memories, no matter how painful or traumatic. Whether he wants to or not, he knows it’s time to fill in the blanks...

^ ^ ^

Lee gave a small sigh of satisfaction that he’d finally met someone who also liked to stop and smell the flowers. Except his lifetime habit of being careful was becoming more difficult to remember with each passing second. He could so easily have taken up Reno’s offer back at the bar to see if a room was available. The thought of Reno’s hands touching and caressing his ass, then his dick…

He reined in his thoughts and gazed at his new friend through half-closed eyes, taking in his short dark hair, and the sexy trace of five o’clock shadow. The dude had good looks to spare—dark, intelligent eyes that held more than a hint of heat, high cheekbones and a wide mouth with mobile lips he just knew could take him to paradise and beyond.  Instinct told him their feelings had been mutual—right from the moment he’d caught sight of Reno standing by the bar with that “come-and-get-me” look in his eyes. The silent message had been sent and received the instant their gazes locked, making actual words unnecessary.

Already, Lee could imagine Reno undressing him, and already he could feel the touch of Reno’s mouth and tongue, and the slide of his beautiful, long-fingered hands moving leisurely over his body, upping the tension while he concentrated on giving him the kind of total satisfaction he craved.

Lee swallowed a sigh. Yeah, man. And he wanted to give back every bit as good as what he got. He wanted Reno in a way he hadn’t wanted any other man for a very long time. Not since---

They’d stayed under the shower for what felt like hours, the hot water and the violet-scented soap soothing his battered body while the man’s clever hands kneaded and massaged away the knots and the pain with the kind of tenderness and caring and--

The waiter came back, put the bottle of wine they’d ordered on the table along with a basket of bread and managed to derail Lee’s thoughts in the process. After pouring them each a glass of wine, the man turned away, and Lee tried to pick up the thread, but it was useless. Whatever track his mind had been on had disappeared along with the waiter.

He took a piece of the bread and put it on his plate. The brief memory flashes were starting to bother him for the simple reason they made no sense. He didn’t know if they were scrambled, disjointed fragments resurfacing from that long ago attack in his hometown, prompted by the trip down memory lane—he’d been told that could happen when the victim buried a traumatic incident rather than face it head on. Or if it had to do with someone from his past who’d borne more than a passing resemblance to the man sitting across from him. While no one came to mind, he couldn’t swear a Reno look alike hadn’t crossed his path at some point. Annoying as it was, this wasn’t the first time Lee had seen someone he thought he recognized. Sometimes the answer came within a minute or so, and sometimes it never did.
