A-Z BLOG - Day 3 - CAESAR SALAD

Day 3 is C – A-Z Blog Challenge http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/

C is for Caesar Salad My Way. I love to cook and I love to give a new twist to tried and true recipes we’ve become a tad tired of. This is my latest version of Caesar Salad for 2 people: For the dressing: 2 teaspoons each sour cream and Hellman’s Mayo mixed with together with1 large crushed garlic clove, black pepper and salt to taste, and 1-2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. 4 slices of Canadian bacon, cooked, drained on paper towel and crumbled. Then wash and break into bite size pieces enough romaine for two. Place the romaine in a serving bowl, sprinkle it with the crumbled bacon and about 50grams of shaved (I use a potato peeler to do this) Asiago Cheese, and serve with the dressing on the side.

Add a loaf of crusty Italian bread and a bottle of your favorite wine and you have the perfect lunch.

CIAO, CIAO BAMBINA http://www.amberquill.com/store/p/565-Ciao-Ciao-Bambina.aspx is from my backlist and features a hero I'd love to share lunch with.

Can a teenage crush survive a twenty-year separation? Especially now when Roberto is Vegas’ latest heartthrob, a handsome, sexy, Italian singer who can have any woman he wants?
